What’s the difference between signing up with email and with Google or Facebook?

Learn how different sign-up methods affect how you log in to your Twibbonize account.

Updated over a week ago

There are two ways to create a Twibbonize account: signing up with your email address or using Google or Facebook. The method you choose will affect how you log in to your Twibbonize account later.

If you’re new to Twibbonize, you can learn more about the sign-up process in this guide on how to create a Twibbonize account.

Signing up with email

When you sign up using your email address directly on Twibbonize, your account is created as a native Twibbonize account.

With this type of account, you can later connect your Google or Facebook account from your account settings. This allows you to log in using either your email and password or your connected social account.

Signing up with Google or Facebook

When you sign up using Google or Facebook, your account is created through social login.

This means your account is linked directly to that platform, and you will need to use the same Google or Facebook login method to access your Twibbonize account.

Even if your Google or Facebook account uses an email address, you cannot log in by entering that email and a password on Twibbonize, because no password was created for that account on our platform.

If you’d like to create and add a password to your account after signing up with Google or Facebook, learn more in this article.
