How do I add a Custom Field to a Campaign Caption?

This guide shows you how to add Custom Fields to your Campaign Caption so supporters can personalize it for better clarity and engagement.

A Campaign Caption is the text your supporters can use when they share your campaign. It helps communicate your message clearly, whether it’s a call to action, a show of support, or a key detail you want others to know. A well-written caption makes it easier for supporters to share a consistent message and increases engagement.

To make your caption feel more personal, you can add a Custom Field. This creates a blank space supporters can fill in with their own details, such as their name, organization, or other relevant information, before posting the caption.

How to Create a Custom Field in a Campaign Caption

  1. Log in to your Twibbonize account and create a campaign. Learn more about how to create a campaign.

  2. In the Caption Template field, write a suitable caption for your campaign.

  3. Hover your cursor on the part of the sentence where you want to attach the Custom Field, then click the “Add Custom Field” button.

  4. The Custom Field will appear in the sentence section according to your cursor.

  5. Type in what information should be included in the Custom Field for your supporter. For example, you can create a Custom Field for the Supporter Name. Therefore, in the Custom Field you can type “Your Name”.

  6. Click "Publish" to save and publish your campaign.

Tip: Feel free to get creative with Custom Fields, but keep them quick to fill in. Using one or two short fields often works best and encourages more supporters to personalize the caption instead of leaving it unchanged.
