How do I apply for Premium Creator for Education?

Follow these steps to apply for a Premium Creator for Education grant.

Once you've checked that you're eligible, applying for Premium Creator for Education takes a few minutes. Read this article all the way through before you start, especially the section on choosing the right account.

Before you apply

Before you start, pick the Twibbonize account you actually use for your Campaigns. Once your grant is confirmed, it's tied to that account permanently and can't be moved to a different one later. If you have more than one account, read Which account should I apply on, and can I change it later? before you continue.

How to apply

  1. Sign in to the Twibbonize account you want the grant on.

  2. Go to the Premium Creator for Education page and select Apply.

  3. Add your academic email address, if it isn't on your account already.

  4. Confirm that you're 18 or older, and a student or educator.

  5. Check the account details shown on the confirmation screen, then confirm.

  6. Open the email sent to your academic address and select the link inside it.

Your grant starts the moment you select the link in step 6. Your Premium Creator features become available right away, with nothing else to activate.

The link in that email expires 24 hours after it's sent. If you start the application but don't finish it, for example if the link expires before you open it, no grant is created. You can start again whenever you're ready.

Premium Creator for Education is currently available on the Twibbonize website only. You can still check your grant status in the Twibbonize mobile app once you've applied, but you can't start or renew an application there yet.

Check your account before you confirm

Step 5 is the one step in this process worth slowing down for. Once you confirm the account shown on that screen, your academic email address is bound to it permanently. There's no way to move a grant to a different account afterward, so applying on the wrong one leaves your Campaigns on one account and your grant on another, for good.

Take a moment to check that the account details on that screen match the account you actually use. Read Which account should I apply on, and can I change it later? for the full explanation of what to check and why it matters.
