Which account should I apply on, and can I change it later?

Understand why choosing the right account matters before you confirm your Premium Creator for Education application.

Your Premium Creator for Education grant binds to one Twibbonize account, permanently. This article explains what to check before you confirm your application, and what your options are if you already applied on the wrong account.

What the confirmation screen shows

Before your application is finalized, Twibbonize shows you the account that's about to receive the grant:

  • Profile photo

  • Display name

  • Username

  • Account email

  • Campaign count

Your campaign count is the most useful detail on this screen. Your academic email address looks identical no matter which account you attach it to, so it can't help you tell your accounts apart. A newly created account, on the other hand, always shows zero Campaigns, which makes it easy to spot if you've picked the wrong one.

The rule to know before you confirm

One academic email address can claim a grant once, on one account. Once you confirm, that binding is permanent. There's no way to transfer a grant to a different account afterward, through support or otherwise.

If you realize after confirming that you applied on the wrong account, your existing Campaigns stay on the account you meant to use, and your grant stays on the account you actually confirmed. This can't be reversed, through support or otherwise, so treat the confirmation screen as your only checkpoint rather than something to fix afterward.

Before you apply

Take a moment on the confirmation screen to check:

  • Is this the account you actually use for your Campaigns?

  • Does the campaign count match what you'd expect?

If everything matches, you're ready to confirm. If you're not sure, sign out and check which account you're signed in to before you start your application again.
