Your grant lasts 12 months at a time. This article explains how to extend it, and where to check your current status.
When and how to extend
The window to extend your grant opens 14 days before it expires. Twibbonize sends you a reminder email at that point.
To extend your grant, you need to:
Be signed in to the account that holds your grant.
Open the reminder email sent to the academic address your grant was originally approved with, and select the verification link inside it.
Both steps are required. This keeps someone who later receives a reused school mailbox from being able to extend a grant that isn't theirs.
Once you complete both steps, your grant extends for another 12 months and uses one of your 4 grant periods. There's no new application form to fill out, and your eligibility is checked again at this point.
You keep full access to your Premium Creator features right up until your current grant's expiry date. Nothing is reduced while you wait for the extension window to open.
Where to check your grant status
Go to Settings, then Billing, to see your current status at any time, including:
Whether your grant is currently active
How many of your 4 grant periods you've used
Your current expiry date
The date your 4-year window closes

When it’s time to extend your grant
The reminder email is the only warning you get before your grant's expiry date. It goes to your academic address specifically, to confirm that address is still active. Twibbonize also sends a heads-up to your account's contact email at the same time, in case your academic mailbox has already closed.

Your Campaign analytics can’t be exported or downloaded, so if you rely on them, save the numbers you need before your grant expires.
Put your expiry date in your calendar as soon as you see it, so you're not caught off guard when it’s time to extend your grant.
