You can cancel your grant at any time, for example if you'd rather pay for Premium Creator, no longer consider yourself eligible, or your institution asks you not to hold one.
How to Cancel
Follow these steps to cancel your grant:
Go to your Premium Creator for Education status page.
Click CANCEL to start canceling.
Review the screen listing what your account will lose, and confirm you understand before continuing.
Click CONFIRM to finish canceling your grant.
What happens when you cancel
Canceling is immediate and can't be undone. The same changes described in What happens when my Premium Creator for Education grant ends? happen right away, including the permanent loss of your Campaign analytics.
Before you confirm, you'll see a screen listing exactly what your account will lose. You need to acknowledge this before canceling goes through.
Canceling doesn't free your academic email
Your academic email stays bound to your account even after you cancel. You can apply again on the same account afterward, and doing so uses one of your 4 grant periods.
Canceling isn't a way to move your grant to a different account. If that's what you're trying to do, canceling only leaves you without a grant, since your academic email stays bound to the account you wanted to leave.
Read Which account should I apply on, and can I change it later? if you're unsure which account to use going forward.
If you want to delete your account
An account with an active grant can't be deleted until the grant is canceled first. Once you cancel and then delete your account, your academic email remains permanently bound to that deleted account. Deleting the account doesn't free it up for future use.
If you restore a deleted account later, it comes back on the Free plan, not with your grant.
